Lowell Milken, founder of the Milken Educator Awards, tells the students at Atlee High School that teachers have the most important job in the world. "Virtually every successful person, including the governor, the state superintendent, everyone, I'm sure, can remember a teacher or two who helped them along the way," he says. "Good teachers really do matter." Lowell Milken explains that he has come to Atlee High School to pay tribute to the exceptional work that educators do. He reveals that one teacher in this school is about to receive an important honor for exemplifying excellence in education: a Milken Educator Award.
