Founded in 2016, ARTEFFECT reflects Lowell’s profound belief in the transformative power of art to inspire change and celebrate Unsung Heroes. This passion drives ARTEFFECT to engage students and educators in creating visual works that honor individuals who made profound yet unrecognized impacts. Through the ARTEFFECT competition and Ambassadors Program, Lowell empowers teachers and participants to embark on a journey of artistic expression and reflection. With submissions from over 20 countries, ARTEFFECT extends Lowell's vision globally, encouraging young people to connect with the past and use art to positively influence the future.
